Derek Horschel, CPA has a long history of work experience in the accounting and operations field. Theircareer began in 2010 when they worked as an Assistant for Mountain View Builders. In 2013, they worked as a Cost Accounting Intern for Horschel Brothers Precision, LLC. Derek then took on a role as a Management Administration Intern - Integrated Supply Chain for Cessna Aircraft Company in 2014. Later that same year, they worked as an Operations / Accounting Specialist for Horschel Brothers Precision, LLC. In 2015, they worked as a Staff Auditor - Intern for EFP Rotenberg, LLP and as a Staff Accountant for Toshiba Business Solutions. In 2017, they worked as a Staff Auditor for Lumsden McCormick, CPA. Finally, in 2018, they worked as an Assistant Director of Operations and an Operations Assistant for Horschel Brothers Precision, LLC.

Derek Horschel obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from SUNY Geneseo between 2012 and 2015. Prior to that, they attended Clarkson University in 2011 to study Engineering and Management. In January 2020, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from the New York State Department of Education.
