Ben Mosier currently serves as Executive Director of the Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit (HIWU) since May 2022. Prior to this role, Ben held multiple positions at Drug Free Sport International from September 2010 to July 2022, including Vice President of Global Business Development & International Administration, where responsibilities included new business development and international administration oversight. Ben also directed the daily operations of drug-testing programs for various professional sports leagues, including the NBA and PGA TOUR, and began a career in sports program management. Education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies obtained from the University of Missouri-Columbia between 2008 and 2010.

Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit (HIWU)
The Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit (HIWU), a division of Drug Free Sport International, was created to serve as the independent enforcement agency of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority's (HISA) Anti-Doping and Medication Control program. The HIWU will establish a comprehensive and robust program that includes uniform testing protocols, adjudication processes and enforcement mechanisms to increase accountability and enhance the integrity of the competition for participants, fans and bettors.
