Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit (HIWU)
Gabrielle Krysiewicz currently serves as a Results Coordinator at the Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit (HIWU) since May 2023. In addition, Krysiewicz has been the Barn Manager at 5-K Farm since May 2018, where responsibilities include financial management, scheduling veterinary appointments, and advising on equine purchases. Previous experience includes a Marketing Internship at Chelsea Groton Bank, where Krysiewicz organized marketing events and managed social media accounts, as well as serving as the Marketing Team Lead at The University of Findlay, promoting equine sales. Early career experience includes a role as Front Desk Receptionist at The Ocean House, focused on delivering high-quality customer service. Krysiewicz holds a Bachelor's degree in Equine Business Management from The University of Findlay and an Associate’s degree from the University of Connecticut-Avery Point.

Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit (HIWU)
The Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit (HIWU), a division of Drug Free Sport International, was created to serve as the independent enforcement agency of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority's (HISA) Anti-Doping and Medication Control program. The HIWU will establish a comprehensive and robust program that includes uniform testing protocols, adjudication processes and enforcement mechanisms to increase accountability and enhance the integrity of the competition for participants, fans and bettors.
