Nikkisha McCrea has a strong background in medical services and clinical medicine. Nikkisha started their career at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in 2009 as an Instructor of Clinical Medicine, where they provided hands-on care for patients and served as the attending physician. After gaining expertise in this role, they became an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in 2012, leading patient care at the hospital. In 2016, McCrea joined the Horsham Clinic as the Director of Medical Services, directing and leading a team to provide medical care at a psychiatric hospital. Their accomplishments include efficiently managing and leading the team to ensure quality care.
Nikkisha McCrea completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry at Xavier University of Louisiana from 1996 to 2000. After that, they pursued their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, completing it from 2002 to 2006. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Board Certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2009. Nikkisha also holds an OHSU 10x10 Course Certificate from the AMIA (American Medical Informatics Association) in 2013.
