Mona Haberer

Mona Haberer started their work experience as a Tax Accountant at Anders Minkler & Diehl LLP in 1986. In 1989, they joined Hortica Insurance & Employee Benefits as an Accounting Manager and later became the President & CEO. Mona also served as the CFO, Treasurer, and Senior Vice President during their time at Hortica. Mona retired from Hortica, a Brand of Sentry Insurance, in December 2018.

Mona Haberer earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University, where they studied from 1976 to 1980. Mona also holds additional certifications as an Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), although the institutions and years of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
