Matt Schmidt

Matt Schmidt has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Matt started their career as a Bartender/Waiter at The Globe in 1995 and then worked as a Bartender/Bar Supervisor at Fox River Brewing Co until 1999. In 1999, they transitioned to a role as an Account Executive at SoftwareOne, where they worked until 2001. In 2003, they joined the Oshkosh Area School District as an IT Support Specialist and later became an IT Project Manager, a position they held until 2022. During their time at Oshkosh, they also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Fox Valley Technical College from 2009 to 2011. Currently, they are the Director of Technology at Hortonville Area School District, a role they started in 2022.

Matt Schmidt attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from 1993 to 1999, where they earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree. Their field of study was Marketing and End-User Support.

In 2002, Matt Schmidt furthered their education at Fox Valley Technical College, graduating in 2004 with a degree in Computer Information Systems. Their specialization was as a Network Specialist.

Additionally, in July 2013, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Certification in IT Service Management from an undisclosed institution.
