Horwitz
Michael Hovey is an accomplished Sheet Metal General Foreman with extensive experience in the sheet metal industry. Currently employed at Horwitz, Inc. since March 2016, Michael previously held the position of Sheet Metal Foreman at Egan Company from July 2011 to March 2016. Michael began their career as an Apprentice and Journeyman at Harris from April 2004 to July 2009 and started as an Apprentice at Metro Sheet Metal Co. between July 2001 and April 2004, ultimately gaining experience as a Welder at Minneapolis Sheet Metal Works from November 2000 to July 2001. Michael Hovey's education includes a Journeyman degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician from SMW Local JATC (2001-2006) and an Associate's degree in Metallurgical Technology from Hawkeye Community College (1998-2000), complemented by a General Studies diploma from Waterloo West High School (1994-1998).
