Diane Scheuring

Diane Scheuring has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Diane currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Education, Membership, & Marketing at the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Membership & Marketing at the same organization. Previously, they were the Membership Engagement Manager, responsible for developing and implementing membership growth and retention strategies.

Before joining the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association, Diane worked at the Oncology Nursing Society as a Learning and Development Manager, where they performed market research and managed the organization's national election process. Diane also served as the Manager of Member Services, managing orientation and leadership events for chapters and Special Interest Groups.

Diane's earlier experience includes working as a Membership and Marketing Coordinator at The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society, where they grew the student membership and facilitated activities for student members to interact and network with professional engineers. Diane also worked at SAE International as a Conference Service Representative and Exhibit Services Representative, streamlining conference development processes and providing on-site show management.

In addition to their professional experience, Diane also has a background with the American Red Cross. Diane served as the Director of the Leadership Development Center, organizing a week-long event focused on leadership skills for high school students, and they volunteered for the Leadership Development Center prior to that.

Diane Scheuring holds an MBA in Management from Point Park University. Prior to earning their MBA, they obtained a BA in Marketing & Management from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown. Diane completed their high school education at Hampton High School. Diane also holds various certifications, including being a Certified Practitioner of Human-Centered Design from LUMA Institute, Certified Volunteer Administrator from the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration, and a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Events Industry Council. Additionally, Diane has certification as a Certified Association Executive (CAE) from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership and as a Certified in Volunteer Administration (CVA) from the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration.
