Deborah (Debbi) McGlauflin has extensive experience in philanthropy and non-profit management. Currently semi-retired, McGlauflin serves as a contractor on the Philanthropy Team for Hospice of the Chesapeake, focusing on donor engagement and planned giving. McGlauflin founded and led Insights in Action, Inc., specializing in strategy and resource development for international relief and development in Asia. Previous roles include serving as the North America Fundraising Director for 84000: Translating the Words of the Buddha, and holding various leadership positions such as Vice President at Ashoka and the Corporation for Enterprise Development. McGlauflin is the founder of the Refugee Women in Development Project and has held diverse roles in organizations dedicated to global development and intercultural programs. Education credentials include a BA in Asian Studies from Connecticut College and an MA in East Asian Studies from East West Center/University of Hawaii at Manoa.
