Gerald Hill

Chief Financial Officer at Hospice of the Chesapeake

Gerald Hill currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Hospice of the Chesapeake. He joined the organization in Spring 2021 and is primarily responsible for the financial, information systems, and facilities management of the organization. As a member of the executive leadership team, he will also share the responsibility of implementing the strategic direction and effecting cultural change within the Hospice of the Chesapeake team.

In his new role, Hill will lead a team dedicated to increasing productivity, reducing organizational expenses, improving utilization of technology, and growing the financial strength of the non-profit organization.

Hill has 25 years of healthcare experience and held positions of increasing responsibility with Trinity Health at Home, Hospice Savannah, and St Joseph’s/Candler Health System prior to joining Hospice of the Chesapeake.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where he was President of the Accounting Honor Society. He was formerly a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.
