Delio Martins

Delio Martins is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in spine surgery and medical affairs. Currently serving as a Medical Affairs Manager at Johnson & Johnson since June 2022, Delio has also been a Spine Surgeon at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and Instituto Cohen since May 2008 and March 2011, respectively. Delio coordinated a medical course for over 1,300 students at Anhembi Morumbi University from July 2016 to December 2021, overseeing a team of 85 professors and contributing to the development of an innovative curricular framework in medical education. As a Research Officer for AOSpine from July 2012 to June 2015, Delio directed initiatives to promote research in spine surgery training. Delio holds a Master's in Business Administration from BSP and advanced degrees, including a Post-Doctorate in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a PhD in Translational Surgery from Universidade Federal de São Paulo.
