Hospital Association of Oregon
Katie Harris, MPH, currently serves as Associate Vice President at Apprise Health Insights, focusing on developing and leading federal advocacy strategies and managing communications with Oregon’s congressional delegation and agency officials. Since May 2012, Katie has held various leadership roles within the Hospital Association of Oregon, including Associate Vice President of Policy & Federal Advocacy, where responsibilities included overseeing federal policy issues and analyzing state policies regarding rural hospitals. Previous positions include Director of Rural Health & Federal Policy and Director of Program Management, emphasizing policy coordination and program implementation for rural health initiatives. Earlier career experiences include roles at Volunteers of America Oregon and the American Lung Association in Oregon, with a focus on operational support and tobacco prevention education. Katie holds a Master of Public Health from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon, along with additional certifications in Procurement & Contracts Management.
