Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio
Jodi Franks serves as the Community Health Improvement Coordinator at the Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio since January 2019. Previously, Jodi held the position of Graduate Assistant, focusing on community health improvement initiatives. In addition, Jodi volunteered with COVID-19 contact tracing at The University of Toledo in April 2020 and completed a summer internship at ProMedica in 2018, where responsibilities included designing a Teen Cooking Matters Class, guiding clients on healthy food choices, and creating a maternal and child health resource guide. Jodi's volunteer experience at The University of Toledo involved participant evaluations and transcribing interviews for research purposes. Jodi holds a Master of Public Health in Public Health Policy and Law/Public Health Education and Promotion from The University of Toledo (2019-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the same institution (2015-2019).
Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio
The Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio (HCNO) is dedicated to working in partnership to improve the health of the region's communities. HCNO is a member-driven organization that represents and advocates on behalf of its member hospitals and health systems. It also provides collaborative opportunities to enhance the health status of residents in the region. HCNO coordinates community health improvement efforts, including the Northwest Ohio Pathways HUB and Healthy Lucas County coalition. Additionally, HCNO coordinates disaster preparedness and community health assessments in the region and beyond.
