Daniel Guinart, MD, PhD, currently serves as a psychiatrist at Hospital del Mar since June 2023 and as an assistant professor of psychiatry at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine at Hofstra University since July 2018. Previously, Daniel worked as a psychiatrist at IMIM from January 2022 to June 2023 and as a research scientist at Northwell Health from June 2016 to January 2022, leading projects focused on schizophrenia and conducting clinical trials. Additional experience includes roles as a research fellow and PhD researcher, contributing to various studies on psychosis and mental health. Daniel obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona and Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin, an Official Master’s Degree in Research in Mental Health, and a doctorate in Psychiatry and Neurosciences from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
