José Ignacio Castro

José Ignacio Castro has over two decades of experience in psychiatry, currently serving as the Coordinating Psychiatrist at CSMA Sant Martí Sud within Hospital del Mar- Parc de Salut MAR since October 2010, alongside responsibilities as an Adjunct Psychiatrist focusing on Primary Care and Special Programs. Prior to this role, José Ignacio Castro worked as an Adjunct Psychiatrist at the Institut Català de la Salut from July 2006 to October 2010, specializing in adult mental health. José Ignacio Castro began a medical career as a Resident Psychiatrist at Diputació de Barcelona between June 2002 and June 2006. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Public Health from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2010-2013) and a Medical Degree from Universidad del País Vasco (1995-2001).
