Tomasz Stepniewski

Tomasz Stepniewski is a highly experienced researcher currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Hospital del Mar Research Institute since January 2023 as part of the Sara Borrell Fellowship. With a strong background in computational chemistry, Tomasz has been a Senior Computational Chemist and previously a Computational Chemist at InterAx Biotech since November 2019. Additionally, Tomasz has been a Research Scientist at The University of Warsaw’s Department of Chemistry, contributing to projects focused on developing novel biased molecules targeting opioid receptors. Tomasz holds a Doctor of Biomedicine from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and has a diverse educational background that includes a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology. Previous roles include a PhD Candidate at IMIM, along with various internships in psychological and biological fields.
