Andrew Thomson

Andrew Thomson is a Clinical Research Assistant II at the Hospital for Special Surgery since July 2022, where responsibilities include assisting orthopedic surgeons with research studies focused on optimizing management of orthopedic complications like periprosthetic joint infection. Previous experience includes roles as a Post-Baccalaureate Researcher in Dr. Mathias Bostrom's laboratory, where research centered on fibrotic progenitor stem cells, and as an Undergraduate Research Intern at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, contributing to translational research on drug-eluting polyethylene.
