Caroline Siegel serves as an Assistant Attending Physician and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery since July 2019. Previously, Caroline completed a Rheumatology Fellowship at UCLA from June 2016 to July 2019 and worked as a Resident Physician. Earlier experiences include roles as a Writing & Outreach Fellow at the Princeton Writing Center and an Emergency Medical Technician with Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad from March 2009 to March 2012. Additionally, a research internship was undertaken at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program in 2011. Caroline earned a Master's degree in Clinical and Translational Investigation from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences in 2022, a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) with Honors in Service from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University in 2016, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Highest Honors in Anthropology and a Certificate in Global Health & Health Policy from Princeton University in 2012.
