Jonathan Kirschner

Jonathan Kirschner, MD, currently serves as an Associate Attending Physiatrist and Fellowship Director for Spine and Sports Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery since May 2017. Concurrently, Jonathan holds the position of Associate Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine since August 2018. Jonathan's previous academic roles include Assistant Professor and Instructor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine from August 2010 to June 2014, and Jonathan completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain and Sports Medicine at Orthopaedic and Spine Specialists, P.C. from 2009 to 2010. Jonathan's residency at UMDNJ/Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, where Jonathan served as Academic Chief Resident, took place from 2006 to 2009. Jonathan earned an MD in Medicine from the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University in 2005 and a BS in Nutrition and Human Biology Health and Society from Cornell University in 2001, following graduation from Stuyvesant High School in 1997.
