Michelle Watorek

Michelle Watorek has extensive work experience in various financial roles. Michelle is currently the VP of Finance Ventures and Innovation at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Octillo, where they were responsible for back office operations, growth plans, compensation programs, and strategic planning. Michelle also held positions at HealthNow New York Inc., First Niagara Bank, Meritain Health, and Ernst & Young, where they gained experience in finance, accounting, and audit. Michelle'sprevious roles involved implementing and optimizing finance operations, leading teams, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Overall, Michelle has a strong background in financial leadership and strategic planning.

Michelle Watorek completed their Executive MBA at the University at Buffalo from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Theater and Dance and a BS in Accounting from the same institution, studying from 2000 to 2004.
