Tara McCoy

Tara McCoy currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for HSS Florida at the Hospital for Special Surgery, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Tara held various executive leadership positions, including Division Executive at GenesisCare and Market Chief Executive Officer of Bayfront Health Port Charlotte and Bayfront Health Punta Gorda at Community Health Systems. Tara’s extensive experience at Tenet Healthcare includes serving as Chief Executive Officer of Good Samaritan Medical Center, where oversight of all strategic, operational, and clinical activities was provided for a facility with significant patient volume. Additionally, Tara has a robust background in enhancing cardiovascular services and operations improvement from previous roles at Cleveland Clinic and HCA Healthcare. Tara completed an MBA at Harvard Business School and holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of South Florida, along with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tulane University.
