Christy Cowden

Christy Cowden is an experienced finance professional with a comprehensive background in accounts payable and system analysis. Currently serving as the Director of Accounts Payable at Hospital Sisters Health System since November 2014, Christy oversees the accounts payable department for multiple hospitals and the corporate office. In addition, Christy has been a System Analyst for HSHS Medical Group since January 2014, focusing on the implementation of a new PS financials system and providing support to over 12 locations. Previously, Christy was the Manager of Accounts Payable at Springfield Clinic from July 2003 to January 2014, where responsibilities included managing staff, implementing new processes, and assisting with financial reconciliations. Christy's career began at Giuffre Inc as a Bookkeeper, managing various financial tasks. Christy holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Springfield.
