Rob is currently the Director of Specification Sales / Business Manager at Hossley Lighting & Power Solutions, where they are responsible for the company's P&L, budget development, operations, sales program management, expense controls, and new construction product specification. Prior to this, they worked at SIGNIFY LIGHTING for over 20 years, starting as the Central Region Sales Manager and eventually becoming the National Sales Manager. In these positions, they demonstrated skills in operations leadership, marketing, key account management, new product/business development, and team management. Rob also held the role of Western Regional Sales Manager at SIGNIFY LIGHTING, where they successfully built marketshare growth and led a team responsible for the Western United States, Canada, and Mexico. Before joining SIGNIFY LIGHTING, Rob worked at Coleman Engineering, Inc. as the Central Region Sales Manager, where they directed regional sales activities and implemented strategies to build and maintain market share. Overall, Rob's experience showcases their expertise in sales, marketing, leadership, and strategic planning in the lighting industry.
Rob Sumner attended the University of Mississippi from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree. Rob'sfield of study was Insurance & Risk Management.
