Hostel of Maine
Hostel of Maine is a log cabin style lodge in Carrabassett Valley that features both private and shared accommodations. With custom crafted wooden bunk beds, and cozy beds ranging from twins to kings, we have great options for solo adventurers, groups of friends, families, and more. We are situated on over 5 acres of woods yet central to skiing, mountain biking, hiking and more, giving you convenience and the comfort of being able to step away from life's day to day stress. Why a hostel? Well, to us a hostel is about sharing space (ranging from the common space & kichenette all the way to the shared bunkroom) and being in a welcoming and friendly place. This isn't your grandmother's hostel, but she'd like it here too! We take care of 98% of the cleaning, provide linens, and even include a hearty continental breakfast! We ask folks to clean up messes they make, wash their own dishes, and strip their beds, but that's it. After being featured in Maine Magazine and New England Ski Journal,
