Duncan Cumming

Duncan Cumming has over 20 years of experience in software development and web design. Duncan started their career as a Web Developer at Alienation Design in 1999. In 2004, they joined Fife Council as a New Media Developer. In 2009, they moved to Hostelbookers, where they worked as a ColdFusion Developer and later as a Senior ColdFusion Developer until 2013. Since 2013, Duncan has been with Hostelworld Group, where they initially served as a Senior Software Engineer and currently holds the position of Lead Software Engineer.

Duncan Cumming completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computing from Robert Gordon University from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computing from North East Scotland College from 1995 to 1997. In 1991-1993, they attended the University of Strathclyde, although the degree name and field of study are unspecified. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications such as Situational Leadership, Leading SAFe with SA Certification, and Certified ScrumMaster.
