Simon Timlin

Simon Timlin is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in commercial and corporate finance. Currently serving as Commercial Finance Manager at Hostelworld Group since July 2019, Simon has previously held roles including Corporate Finance Manager and Commercial Analyst within the same organization. Prior to this, Simon gained valuable expertise at Focus Capital Partners from September 2016 to June 2019, focusing on equity raising, debt refinancing, financial modeling, valuations, financial advisory, due diligence, debt restructuring, and capital projects. Earlier in Simon's career, experience at PwC from October 2012 to September 2016 included roles as Assistant Manager in Assurance for both Asset & Wealth Management and a secondment to the United States that entailed auditing large investment managers. Simon holds a Diploma in Corporate Finance from Chartered Accountants Ireland, a Master of Accounting from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, and a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin.
