David Woolford

David Woolford is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law. Currently serving as General Counsel at HostPapa since October 2017, Woolford also founded Woolford Venture Law, holding the title of Principal until March 2023. Previous positions include General Corporate Counsel at Virox Technologies Inc. for almost 25 years, and Senior Partner at both Miller Thomson LLP and Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP. Woolford began a legal career at McMillan LLP, progressing from Associate Lawyer to Partner. Academically, Woolford earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Western University and the University of Western Ontario, following a two-year Bachelor of Math program at the University of Waterloo.
