Joanne Dutton

Joanne Dutton is an accomplished technology executive currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Hostplus since March 2024. Prior to this role, Joanne held multiple senior positions at nbn® Australia from August 2018 to March 2024, including Executive General Manager for Technology Transformation, where responsibility included simplifying systems through digitisation and AI, as well as leading the technology change roadmap and overseeing large teams of software and network engineers. Joanne's earlier experience includes significant roles at Virgin Media from January 2004 to June 2018, such as Strategy Director for the Network Expansion Programme and various leadership positions in engineering and systems development. Joanne also managed DTV and broadband projects at Imagine Broadband Limited and served as a consultant at Accenture specializing in DTV project design and testing. Joanne holds a PhD in Physics from King's College London and a BSc in Physics from Durham University.
