Kathleen Williams

Kathleen Williams has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Kathleen is currently employed as the Head of Enterprise Risk at Hostplus, a position they started in September 2023. Prior to this, Kathleen worked at Data Action as the Head of Enterprise Risk from November 2021 to June 2022. Before that, they were the Head of Risk and Compliance at Foresters Financial from July 2021 to November 2021. Kathleen also served as a Board Member at Yoga Australia from December 2019 to May 2021.

Kathleen Williams has a significant tenure at AIA Australia, where they held multiple roles. Kathleen was the Head of Retail Risk, Optimisation, and Compliance from February 2015 to July 2020. Before that, they served as the Policy Administration Manager from September 2013 to February 2015, and as the Adminstration Team Leader and Customer Service from December 2011 to September 2013.

Additionally, Kathleen worked at the Australian Financial Complaints Authority as a Dispute Officer in the Banking and Finance sector from June 2010 to January 2011. Kathleen also has experience as a Shift Manager at McDonald's from March 2006 to December 2009.

Kathleen Williams completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Victoria University from 2006 to 2010. Kathleen then pursued a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Leo Cussen Institute in 2010. In 2013, Kathleen obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from RMIT University. Kathleen also received the RG146 certification from Kaplan UK in 2013. Kathleen further enhanced their expertise by completing a Graduate Certificate in Compliance and Risk Management at the Australian Compliance Institute in 2017. Kathleen obtained the designation of Certified Compliance and Risk Professional from the GRC Institute in July 2017. Kathleen's dedication to governance led their to further their education at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2019, where they focused on enhancing their understanding of corporate governance.
