Gerald St. Pierre CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP

Gerald St. Pierre has extensive work experience in various roles related to compliance, risk management, and cybersecurity. Gerald is currently serving as the Head of Compliance and Enterprise Risk at atVenu since April 2023.

Prior to that, they worked at Enbridge from December 2019 to April 2023 as a Cybersecurity Governance Specialist. In this role, they developed and implemented a new cybersecurity controls framework for the organization, led independent NIST maturity assessments, and provided data and reporting on the state of the cybersecurity program.

From November 2015 to December 2019, Gerald worked at Benevity as a Governance & Controls Advisor, IT. Gerald collaborated with security and engineering teams to enhance information security measures, facilitated third-party audits and client assessments, and maintained information security policies.

Before that, Gerald worked at Optimal Payments PLC from 2005 to 2015. Gerald held various roles including IT Production Operations Support Analyst, Risk Analyst, and Merchant Due Diligence Supervisor. In these positions, they addressed internal software issues, managed fraud programs, analyzed transaction data for fraud trends, performed due diligence investigations, and supervised public relations activities.

Gerald St. Pierre CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP obtained their first certification, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), from (ISC)² in November 2018. Prior to that, they completed a diploma in Electronics, Computer Maintenance and Repair, Network Administration from DeVry Institute of Technology in 2005. In 2010-2011, they pursued Contract Management at Mount Royal University, followed by completing the Petroleum Joint Venture Analyst Program and Petroleum Joint Venture Administration Program at the same university from 2009 to 2011. Moreover, in 2012, they studied Relational Database Fundamentals at the University of Calgary. Apart from these educational achievements, they obtained additional certifications including the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA in January 2023, the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) from ISACA in March 2022, and the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² in April 2022.
