Grant King

Grant King has extensive experience in the mining industry, beginning with their role as a Graduate Engineer at Eltin Underground Operations from 1996 to 2001. From 2001 to 2003, they served as an Underground Mining Engineer at Harmony Gold Pty Ltd, where they were responsible for drill and blast design, scheduling, contractor supervision, and ventilation. In 2003, they moved to Datamine Australia as a Senior Account Manager. From 2007 to 2009, Grant King worked at Resource Evaluations Pty Ltd as a Senior Mining Engineer. Grant then moved to Runge Limited in 2009, where they served as a Senior Mining Engineer. In 2008, Grant King joined Mining Technical Solutions Pty Ltd as a Senior Mining Engineer, where they completed projects such as PFS design and schedule for Citadel's Jabal Sayid and Consolidated Minerals' Widgimooltha projects. From 2010 to 2012, they worked at Coffey Mining Pty Ltd as a Specialist Mining Engineer. In 2020, they began their current role as Chief Operating Officer at Hot Chili Limited.

Grant King obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from The University of Queensland in 1995, majoring in Mining - Honours. Grant also obtained a BE from James Cook University in 1992. In 2009, they completed a Master of Science in Mineral and Energy Economics from Curtin University.
