Catherine Longworth

Catherine Longworth has a diverse work experience in the field of interior design and operations management. Catherine currently serves as the Director of Operations at HotMic since May 2019. Prior to this, they worked as an Interior Design Assistant at Divvy House from August 2022 to July 2023.

Catherine also has experience as a Luxury Home Organizer at Neat Method North Shore - Chicago, where they met with clients for in-home consultations, organized clients' spaces, and implemented necessary organizing products from September 2018 to April 2019.

Catherine worked as a Design Consultant at CL Designs from January 2009 to September 2012, providing interior design, space planning, and color consulting to residential clients. Catherine successfully completed master bath and kitchen renovations, as well as professionally organizing master closets, kitchen pantries, and offices.

Earlier in their career, Catherine served as a Designer and Design Assistant at Hunter Douglas Hospitality from February 2006 to August 2008. As the Lead Designer, they handled custom drapery solutions for Hampton Inn & Suites Standards Programs and developed room schemes for the Hunter Douglas Hospitality website. Catherine also composed textile presentation boards, handled custom textile sourcing, and maintained the design library.

Catherine briefly worked as a Design Assistant at HBF Textiles in February 2006 and as an Interior Design Assistant at Linc Thelen Design from July 2003 to September 2003. At Linc Thelen Design, they assisted with material selection and finishes, as well as managed quotes, invoices, and orders for residential clients.

Catherine Longworth's education history begins in 1996 when they attended the University of Minnesota, focusing on Art/Art Studies, General. Catherine completed their studies there in 1999. Following this, from 1999 to 2002, Catherine attended Dakota County Technical College, earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Interior Design & Sales. Lastly, from 2004 to 2006, they attended Harrington College of Design, where they received their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design.
