Marlin Vasquez has significant experience in the hospitality industry, specializing in event management and beverage services. Currently part of the Hotel Opening Management Team as Banquet Event & Beverage Captain at Hotel Californian since February 2018, Marlin plays a key role in establishing operations for this new four-star hotel. Prior to this, Marlin spent over a decade at Bacara Resort & Spa, progressing through various roles including Banquet Beverage Captain, Banquet Captain, and Bar Manager, where responsibilities included running high-profile events, managing staff, creating drink menus, and ensuring exceptional service standards. Earlier in the career, Marlin held positions at Four Seasons Hotels and Bacara Resort & Spa, focusing on In Room Dining operations and staff management. Educational background includes studies at Santa Barbara City College from 1994 to 1998.
