Built in the first half of the 19th century, Hôtel Chais Monnet is now open!
Located in a former Cognac warehouse on the banks of the Charente River, Chais Monnet has 92 guest rooms and suites and 13 apartments. Our 120-cover brasserie and 50-cover gourmet restaurant are headed by Chef Sébastien Broda, who was awarded a Michelin star in his former establishment; our jazz bar has live music on Fridays and Saturdays, fabulous cocktails, and an atmosphere redolent of New Orleans in its prime.

Our tearoom serves afternoon tea complete with delicious French cakes and pastries. “A healthy mind in a healthy body” as the saying goes: Chais Monnet also has a fabulous spa and wellness area, including a 24 metre pool, fitness room, jacuzzi, hammam and sauna, ideal for a peaceful retreat and a little well-earned hedonism.

For your private or business events, Chais Monnet offers 4 meeting rooms and a 400 sq m multipurpose function room. Chais Monnet is a five-star country hotel combining world-class elegance and a casual, contemporary twist.

Hôtel Chais Monnet will offer you the best memories of your most beautiful moments of your life.
