Juan Ortiz

Juan Ortiz is the current General Manager of Sleep Inn & Suites, Ocala & Belleview at Hotel Development and Management Group, LLC. Prior to this, Juan was with Comcast Cable from April 2015 to April 2016 as a Field Sales Representative. In this role, Juan was responsible for qualifying prospects, generating revenue and acquiring customers, conducting customer evaluations and procurements, managing accounts, overseeing the sales process, and analyzing ROI to determine why customers should buy and why they should buy now. Juan was also responsible for developing best practices for leading successful sales campaigns, devising creative marketing ideas, and meeting deadlines.

Before Comcast Cable, Juan worked as an Assistant Coordinator at Cory 1st Choice Home Delivery from March 2017 to June 2018. In this role, Juan collaborated with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, supervised the work of logistics specialists, planners, and schedulers, maintained metrics and reports, directed distribution center operation to ensure achievement of cost and productivity objectives, negotiated transportation rates and services, and analyzed the financial impact of proposed logistics changes.

Juan Ortiz graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School with a college prep diploma. Juan then attended Manchester Community College, where they earned a degree in business administration. Juan is also certified in A+ and C+.

Juan Ortiz reports to Azim F. Saju, CEO & President. Juan Ortiz works with Rebecca Villar - General Manager, Wyndham Garden Orlando Universal, Earnest Dear - General Manager, Best Western, Jacksonville, and James Finch - General Manager, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, Kissimmee & Celebration.
