Syed Sy Ali

VP, F&B & Entertainment Operations at Hotel Equities

In his current role, Sy oversees the food and beverage operations for HE’s hospitality portfolio which includes full-service and resort style hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues. He leads the team directing all aspects of food service operations inclusive of business strategy development and setting policy and procedures to ensure consistency in service standards across all locations.

With over 25 years’ of experience in hospitality food and beverage management Sy has held positions at property, area, and corporate levels. He brings multi-year experience in both full service and luxury hotels as well as free standing restaurants. Prior to joining HE, Sy held a corporate position with FAT Brands, overseeing the beverage portfolio for 65 restaurants across 9 states. Sy’s prior experience at the hotel level was the co-managing F&B director for the largest luxury hotel in South Florida, Fontainebleau Miami beach, and he has been involved in multiple new restaurants openings across Atlanta, Cleveland, and South Florida markets.

Sy graduated from Florida International University with BS in Hospitality Management.
