Olivia Secher has a diverse range of work experience in the marketing and hospitality industry. Olivia started their career as a Social Media and Marketing Intern at Scandic Hotels in 2011, where they managed online campaigns and assisted with pre-opening management. Olivia then worked as a Marketing and E-Commerce Coordinator at Canon XL- Office from 2012 to 2013, overseeing the rollout of Canons' first e-commerce initiative in Sweden.
In 2013, Olivia joined Bonnier Tidskrifter as a Marketing Coordinator for Allt om Trädgård & Privata Affärer publications. Olivia'sresponsibilities included planning and executing marketing campaigns, managing social media platforms, and attending trade fairs and events.
Olivia's next role was as the Online Operations Manager at Decathlon International in 2015. Olivia worked closely with the E-Commerce Manager to establish Decathlon's first e-commerce market in Sweden. Olivia'stasks included website content creation, managing online marketing campaigns, and overseeing logistics from the warehouse in Lille to Stockholm.
From 2015 to 2016, Olivia worked as the Head of Marketing at foodora, where they successfully established and opened up foodora in the Swedish market. Olivia developed and executed online and offline marketing strategies in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö.
Olivia then took on the role of Marketing & PR Manager at Tak Stockholm in 2016. Olivia was involved in the pre-opening phase of two hotels, At Six & Hobo Hotel, as well as the rooftop restaurant TAK. Olivia later helped open UNN, a teppanyaki restaurant. Olivia'srole focused solely on TAK.
Since 2018, Olivia has worked as an independent consultant within gastronomy and hospitality. Olivia utilizes their expertise and passion for food, wine, and travel to offer consulting services, with a primary focus on restaurants and the people who work in them.
Most recently, Olivia has been appointed as the Head of Marketing at Urban Deli starting in April 2023.
