Santiago Parra began their work experience in 2006 as an M&A Senior Advisor at Grupo Modelo. During their time there, they played a key role in establishing a joint venture with Molson Coors Canada, resulting in a significant increase in revenue. Santiago also led the acquisition and strategic partnership of Nestlé Waters Mexico, leading to further sales growth for Modelo.

In 2008, Parra joined Hoteles City Express as a Corporate Finance Manager. Santiago successfully coordinated a private placement with Morgan Stanley and the International Finance Corporation to fund a business plan. Santiago also implemented a financing program to fund the growth of 25 hotels and conducted a refinancing process to improve the hotel portfolio's financial structure. During their time as Director of Business Development, they formulated financial feasibility analysis for numerous hospitality projects and implemented a land bank building process to accelerate development.

As a Corporate Finance & Business Development Executive Director, Parra headed the financial, fiscal, and legal structuring processes for over 20 hotels per year. Santiago launched and led the Asset Management Division, optimizing hotel inventory returns and implementing a property remodeling process. Santiago also closed commercial space leases and played a key role in HCITY's international expansion strategy across Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru, and Chile.

Most recently, Parra assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer at Hoteles City Express in 2022.

Santiago Parra completed an MBA in Finance from the Texas McCombs School of Business from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México, between 1996 and 2001.
