Katie Davenport has extensive work experience in various roles within the hospitality industry. Katie started their career in 2006 as a Lead Manager at Gary Vallen Hospitality Consultants. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Assistant Manager at Charleston's I-240 - Hal Smith and Mama Roja's - Hal Smith. In 2011, they joined Marriott International as an Operations Manager and later became a Restaurant Supervisor. Katie then worked at Sheraton Desert Oasis as a Food and Beverage Manager from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they joined HOTELPRO as an Operations Manager until 2016. From 2017 to 2020, Katie held various roles at HOTELPRO, including Market Development Specialist, Regional Director, and currently, they serve as the Tactical Operations Director.
Katie Davenport obtained their Bachelor's degree in International Hotel and Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University, in the period from 2005 to 2008. In 2007-2008, they also pursued a Study Abroad Semester in International Hotel Management at Oxford Brookes University. Furthermore, they completed their high school education at Colegio Anglo Americano Prescott Arequipa Peru from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Katie Davenport obtained certification as a TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) Trainer from TIPS in April 2013.
