Virginia Gonzalez has over 20 years of work experience in accounting and finance. Virginia currently works at HOTELPRO as the Director of Accounting, a position they have held since February 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Accounting Manager at HOTELPRO from January 2018 to January 2020, and as a Senior Accountant from June 2016 to December 2017. Before joining HOTELPRO, they worked at GRACE M. WILLIAMS, C.P.A., P.C. as a Staff Accountant for six months in 2016. Virginia also has extensive experience in the tax field, having served as the National Tax Manager at Terpel from December 2008 to January 2012, and as the Tax Manager at Winner Group S.A. - CIRSA Colombia from May 2005 to December 2008. Virginia began their career as an Accountant at Jorgeeme Ltda, where they worked for over eight years from July 1993 to June 2001. Prior to that, Virginia held the position of Director of Finance at Kenzo Jeans from July 2001 to May 2005.
Virginia Gonzalez obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidad La Gran Colombia from 1993 to 1999. Virginia then pursued further education at Universidad de Los Andes from 2009 to 2010, completing the LL.M. Graduate Tax Program with a focus on Tax Law/Taxation. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the UAE - Junta Central de Contadores in May 2000.
