Jeroen Overstijns

Jeroen Overstijns has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jeroen started their career as a BU Manager at Standaard Uitgeverij in 2010 and later became the Chief Commercial Officer at Groupe Larcier in 2015. In 2016, they joined Standaard Uitgeverij again, this time as a Board Member and eventually became the Chief Executive Officer until January 2023. In 2013, they also served as a Board Member at Iedereen Leest and as a Board Member - Treasurer at DE MAALBEEK in 2014. From 2015 to 2016, they took on the role of Chairman at Friskis&Svettis Stockholm. In 2019, they became a Member of The Supervisory Board at Intersoc vzw. Additionally, they provided general and change management services through their own company, OVERSTIJNS, since 2015. Their most recent role was as the CEO AI - Transformation Manager at myskillcamp from May 2023 to July 2023. Jeroen is currently working as a Guest Lecturer - Leadership Skills at Hotelschool Ter Groene Poorte. Jeroen Overstijns started their education journey in 1990 at KU Leuven, where they pursued a Master's degree in German languages. Jeroen successfully completed this degree in 1994. In 1994, Jeroen also engaged in an Advanced training in literary science, known as MaNaMa, at KU Leuven. After a break in formal education, they joined Vlerick Business School in 2009 for an in-company training program in Business Administration, Management, and Operations, which they finished in 2010. Currently, Jeroen is enrolled at CVO Brussel, where they are pursuing a degree in Cooking and Related Culinary Arts, with an expected completion date in 2022.
