Fermín Carmona Fernández

Fermín Carmona Fernández has a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. In 2004, they began their career as a Hotel Management Trainee at The Shelbourne. In 2005, they were the Deputy General Manager at Hotel & Spa El Rodat. From 2006 to 2007, they were the Revenue Manager at Vincci Hoteles. In 2008, they became a Senior Advisor Hotel Management at CONTRAKT. From 2007 to 2011, they were the Chief Operating Officer at AGA ihm. From 2011 to 2015, they held various roles at Iberostar Group, including SVP Sales Operations / Global Director Sales Operations, VP Back Office / Global Director Back Office, Deputy COO & Global Customer Experience, VP Product Development / Global Director Of Product Development, VP Research & Back Office EMEA / Director Research & Back Office (EMEA), and Subdirector of eCommerce & Online Marketing. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Franchise Partner at ALOHA Spain. Since 2015, they have been a Member of the Advisory Board at BEONx. In 2022, they became the Founder & CEO of Hotelverse.

Fermín Carmona Fernández completed a Programa enfocado (blended) from IESE Business School in 2018, which focused on Proyectos estratégicos. In 2008, they obtained an Advanced Certification in Hospitality Marketing (PRESENCIAL) from Cornell University and a Forecasting Hotelero certification from Xotels. Fermín also obtained an Advance Certification Revenue Management (PRESENCIAL) from Cornell University and a Revenue Management y e-distribucion certification from Xotels in the same year. From 2003 to 2006, Fermín Carmona Fernández completed a Swiss Hotel Association Hotel management from Les Roches Marbella Global Hospitality. Fermín also attended Universidad Loyola from 1999 to 2001, where they studied ADE for two years.
