Javier Minguella Vargas

Javier Minguella Vargas has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Senior Financial Controller at Inveready from December 2016 to December 2018. Javier then served as an Interim CFO at Inveready from January 2019 to April 2019, followed by an Investment Manager position at Inveready from May 2019 to June 2020. During this time, they also served as a Board Observer at Schaman and Volava from July 2019 to May 2020 and September 2019 to May 2020, respectively.

In 2020, Javier joined Revelock, a Feedzai company, as the Chief Financial Officer. At Revelock, they led the M&A process from the Seller's side and spearheaded the fundraising strategy until July 2021. Following the acquisition of Revelock by Feedzai, Javier continued their career as a Senior Corporate Development Manager at Feedzai from August 2021 to June 2022, where they were responsible for M&A initiatives and leading strategic projects across the organization.

In 2022, Javier served as the Chief Financial Officer at Cafler, a series A stage on-demand service platform for vehicles, from June to December. Javier then transitioned to serve as a Corporate Strategy Advisor at Ironchip from July 2022 onwards. Javier also held the role of Chief Operating Officer at Chekin from February 2023 onwards.

Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at CeleBreak and Hotelverse, both from 2023 onwards. CeleBreak is a company that focuses on providing experiences for football lovers, while Hotelverse is a pre-Series A stage travel tech SaaS company.

Throughout their career, Javier has demonstrated their expertise in financial management, corporate strategy, M&A, and fundraising in various industries such as technology, software, and investment management.

Javier Minguella Vargas obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Esade, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In 2013, they participated in an exchange program at Tongji University, where they also pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). In 2014, they furthered their education by pursuing a Master's Degree in International Business (MIB) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, completing their studies in 2015.
