Verena Pessim

Verena Pessim is a seasoned design leader with 15 years of user-centric design experience, currently serving as the Chief Design Officer and ESG Lead at Meiuca, where they scale Brazilian design and champion ESG solutions. Previously, Verena held significant roles at Nubank, including Design Lead, where they impacted millions of users through intuitive design. They also co-founded Jam Consultoria and have contributed to various prestigious projects, including a Red Dot design award-winning strategy for a British airline company. Verena's dedication to impactful design is further enriched by their experience as an MBA teacher at FIAP, and they continue to expand their knowledge in circular economy and sustainable strategies through executive education at Cambridge Judge Business School.
