Germán Distel

Germán Distel has a diverse work experience in software development, product management, and entrepreneurship. Germán is currently working as a Javascript Developer at Hotovo since November 2021. Prior to this, they were an Angular Developer and later a Product Manager at Azavista from November 2016 to May 2020. During their time at Azavista, Germán was responsible for requirements engineering, conceptual feature design, user story creation, and rapid prototyping with Angular and Angular Material UI.

In 2022, Germán became the owner of Smile Datepicker, a Tiendanube app that allows merchants to manage a booking system for deliveries or in-house pickup or services.

Before their roles in software development and product management, Germán served as a Program Representative for the Erasmus Mundus Association from January 2016 to January 2017. Germán advocated for students and alumni of their Erasmus Mundus programme, seeking knowledge about their problems, wishes, and needs and serving as a contact person between the course and the association.
