Sami Ansari

Sami Ansari has a diverse range of work experience in the film industry, starting with freelance work in 1994 and eventually founding their own production company, Hi-Five Films, in 2004. Sami has served in various roles, including director, director of photography, editor, and camera operator. From 2000 to 2002, they co-founded OnFuego Films as a director of photography and editor. In 2011, they worked as a photographer and camera operator for Roswell Films/Therapy and contributed to the Sound City Movie project, which was published in Rolling Stone magazine. Most recently, they worked as a commercial director and photographer for HotRock Pictures, starting in 2013 and continuing until the present.

From 1994 to 1998, Sami Ansari attended the Academy of Art University where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus on Motion Picture and Video.
