Nuruddeen Lewis has extensive work experience in the field of immunology and oncology. Nuruddeen is currently serving as the Director of Immunology at HotSpot Therapeutics, Inc. since June 2021. Prior to this, they held the same position at Skyhawk Therapeutics from October 2020 to April 2021.
Before joining Skyhawk Therapeutics, Nuruddeen worked at Codiak BioSciences from July 2018 to October 2020 as the Associate Director of Cellular Immuno-oncology, and from November 2016 to October 2020 as a Senior Scientist in the same field.

Nuruddeen began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Immunology and Inflammation at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals from February 2011 to September 2013, where they conducted discovery research in autoimmune diseases and published four first-author papers.
Nuruddeen Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Alabama State University, which they completed between the years 2001 and 2005. Following this, they pursued a doctoral degree in Immunology at Vanderbilt University from 2005 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained a certification in the Kaggle R Tutorial on Machine Learning from DataCamp, although the specific month and year of completion are not provided.
