Earlier in their career, Sylvia worked at Uber as the Marketing Program Manager Lead for Latin America, overseeing large-scale integrated marketing campaigns. Sylvia also founded Monoko, an online marketplace in Latin America for buying and selling pre-owned baby apparel and gear. Sylvia has experience in client services and loyalty marketing agency at Aimia Inc, as well as integrated marketing and communications at Xerox and Canon Mexicana. Sylvia began their career as a Marketing Assistant at BMW Group Mexico.
Sylvia Ortegon holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Marketing from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. Sylvia also has a Master's of Science degree in Advertising from Boston University College of Communication.
