David Brooks

David Brooks serves as the Vice President of Houchens Insurance Group, a position held since October 2019. Brooks has extensive experience in the insurance and risk management sectors, having founded SafetyInSchools in March 2006, which provides online safety training for school systems nationwide. Prior to current roles, Brooks was the Senior Vice President at Metis and owned Anytime Fitness in Hendersonville, TN. Additional experience includes Vice President at Safety Engineering Consultants, Loss Control Consultant at Arthur J. Gallagher & Company, and Safety Engineer for Disney's Animal Kingdom. Brooks earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Murray State University.
