Joe Abbott

Joe Abbott is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt since March 2016. Prior to this, Joe worked at Morgan Stanley from August 2005 to January 2016 as an Executive Director. Joe started their career in the US Navy as a Submarine Officer from May 1998 to March 2005. Joe holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance, Management & Strategy from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management (2003 - 2005) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy (1994 - 1998).
